This colorful Dachshund Dog sculpture has the added Doxie expression with his head half cocked listening for his owner to come walking in the room. His quirkiness is intensified by the extras wide dog collar with added "bling" with the help of glass tiles and fished off with a metal dog tag dangling from the loop. Finally, I added gold toned wire whiskers and balls at the tips for completion. He is now ready to go to a loving home.
As with all my creations, Barkley is a handmade, one-of-a-kind sculpture that can be copied, but not duplicated. Each piece is lovingly hand formed, as well as hand glazed with three to six coats to achieve the best color enhancement.
